“I appreciate the incredible opportunity that G4S 4teen provides me with. To have the support and experience of so many other athletes, not to mention the great Haile Gebrselassie, is an unbelievable gift and I hope to do everything I can to use it to reach the top of my sport over the next few years.”
Chien An Chen is a Taiwanese star in the making with a huge talent and passion for table tennis. He began playing at the age of 10 and at the age of 15 was already ranked number six in his country. Selected as a national athlete when just 14 years old, he has since continued to build on that early promise. Chien continues to compete at the highest level within his age-group, and is making a considerable impression as well as catching the eye of many top level coaches within the sport.
A young man with a fierce training ethic, all of the hard-work that Chien puts in on a daily basis is done so with one sole aim in mind – to one day represent his country at the Olympic Games.
Chatchai Butdee and Chien-an Chen will compete in London later this month.
