"I want to thank G4S 4teen for giving me this opportunity which is so important in helping me on the path to achieving my Olympic dream."
12- time World Champion Mariana started BMX riding at just four years old and by the age of 10 was already representing her country.
One of the most promising BMX talents in the world, Mariana became world champion for the first time at the age of 9 and has since won a further 11 World Championship titles, most recently in 2009 in Adelaide, Australia.
Mariana was voted Colombia’s Junior Sports Women of The Year for three consecutive years, an incredible feat and due recognition for all of her achievements. Mariana is determined to make her family and country proud by competing and hopefully taking a medal at the 2012 Olympic Games.
