Obinna was once again labelled the fastest man in Nigeria after winning the 100 and 200 metres at Nigeria's National Championships

G4S 4teen sprinter Obinna was once again crowned the ‘fastest man in Nigeria’ on the weekend, after winning both the 100 metre and 200 metre races at Nigeria’s National Championships.
The young sprint sensation won the 100 metres in a time of 10.25 seconds, and won the 200 metres in a time of 20.17 seconds.
This success adds weight to Obinna’s quest for medal success at the biggest events in the athletics calendar later on in the season.
After the victory on the weekend, Obinna said that he believed that with solid preparation and motivation he stands a chance of winning Gold at both the African Athletics Championships in Kenya and the Commonwealth Games in India later this year.
