Haile Gebrselassie is travelling to the UK this weekend to compete in the Great Birmingham Run whilst G4S 4teen athletes Mariana Pajon and Juan Maegli are competing in the Pan American Games in Mexico.

Long distance running legend and G4S 4teen mentor Haile Gebrselassie will return to the UK one more time to compete in the first ever Great Birmingham Run this Sunday. Taking on the half marathon, a distance at which he is a former world record holder, Haile will be looking to put in a strong performance in his first race since the Berlin Marathon, where he had to drop out due to an infection in his windpipe.
Viewers in the UK can watch the race on Channel 5 at 10.00am on Sunday 23 October.
Meanwhile over in Guadalajara, Mexico the current BMX World Champion and G4S 4teen athlete Mariana Pajon from will be taking on some of the world’s best riders in the Pan American Games.
G4S 4teen’s Guatemalan sailor Juan Maegli will also be taking to the water in Mexico this weekend in the men’s laser class competition.
